Introduction
This page is for my disaster topic.I have decided to do nuclear disasters because these are very interesting and have mixed subjects in them like history and physics.Below i will write about Chernobyl,Hiroshima and Nagasaki disasters and i will tell you how a nuclear bomb works.I have put a lot of my time into this project and i hope you enjoy my work:)
Facts
Chernobyl is a city in Ukraine it is near the border of Belarus.The chernobyl diaster at the chernobyl nuclear power plant is the worst nuclear disaster in world history.On the 26th of April 1986 reactor number 4 at the chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded.Other explosions and fire sent a big cloud of smoke up into the atmosphere.The cloud carried over to parts of the west side of the Soviet Union,Eastern Europe,Western Europe,Northern Europe and Northern America.Large parts of Ukraine and Russia were badly contaminated with gases.The accident raised concerns about the Soviet Union power plant industry. 28 people died within four months from radiation or thermal burns and there have been around nine deaths from cancer.

Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were nuclear attacks duriong world war 2.After 6 months America had bombed 67 Japanes cities.The nuclear weapon 'Little Boy' as the Americans called it was dropped on the city of Hiroshima on August 6th of 1945.On August the 9th America dropped another bomb on the city of Nagaski.The bomb was called 'Fat Man'.

How nuclear bombs work?
You have probably heard of nuclear bombs being used in world war 2.Well i'm going to tell you how a nuclear bomb actually works! Nuclear bombs involve forces like strength and weakness,that hold nucleas(The center of the atom)and atom together.Inside an atom you will find nucleas,electron and orbit.There are no chemicals inside a nuclear bomb it is only energy.
When you drop a nuclear bomb there is such an outburst of energy that it flattens everything around it and creates a big mushroom cloud in the sky.The energy bursts into the atmosphere and creates acid rain.Acid rain is caused by air polltuing.
